Knowledge

Knowledge is where you give Devplan the context that makes its work relevant to your business: who you serve, what you are trying to achieve, and which decisions should guide the work. A strategy brief or customer description saved here becomes shared workspace context that Weaver can use across conversations and projects.

Use Knowledge to maintain that background, connect source material, inspect signals, and record decisions. Together, these help Weaver connect an individual request or update to the bigger picture.

Workspace​

Open Knowledge → Workspace to review and edit your company context. Start with the descriptions created during onboarding, correct anything misleading, and add the priorities or constraints that public information cannot tell Devplan. Select Save changes after editing the text.

Be specific about what matters. For example, “Help small operations teams complete onboarding without an implementation consultant” gives Weaver more useful direction than “Improve onboarding.” Describe the customer and desired outcome, and add relevant background about your market or product.

Update this context when your goals, target customers, or product direction change. For a lasting correction to these descriptions, update the fields here and save them so future work has a shared starting point.

Add supporting documents​

Under Additional context, select Add context to upload files or attach content from Google Drive, Notion, or Confluence. You can connect a supported provider from this menu if it is not already connected. Provider connections and attachment actions depend on your workspace permissions.

Add material that applies across your work, such as strategy briefs, customer research, or product positioning. You can also attach documents directly to Company goals. Keep documents that belong to a single initiative with that project.

The attachment list lets you open source documents or uploaded files, check processing status, and remove attachments that no longer belong in the workspace. Uploads are copies; connected documents depend on continued access to their source. See Uploads and the relevant integration guide for details.

Review website and company research​

Expand Website overview to read Devplan's analysis of your company website. Use Rescan after updating the website or when you want a fresh analysis; the page shows scan status and errors.

When available, Company research includes a company profile and competitive analysis with links to public sources. These reports are read-only. Use their sources to assess the findings, then correct or supplement the editable workspace context with what your team knows.

Live Docs​

Live Docs, under Product, describes your product's capabilities and user flows based on repository analysis and connected context. Use Workspace to explain the business and its direction, and Live Docs to explore how the product works.

Signals​

Signals are synthesized observations from discussions, meeting notes, tickets, and documents. They help you find customer needs, problems, and other relevant developments across source material. Open a signal to inspect its supporting evidence before using it to inform a decision. Read the Signals guide for how to use them.

Decisions​

Decisions keeps the choices your team has made available beyond the original conversation. Search the register to understand earlier choices. Workspace admins can add a decision with its reasoning, review and approve decisions Devplan extracted from connected material, edit the wording, and archive or restore decisions as direction changes.

Use workspace context for ongoing background and goals, and Decisions for explicit choices—for example, which customer segment a release will serve and why. This gives Weaver a clearer basis for explaining prior choices and helping with new work.

Integrations​

Use Integrations to connect sources, choose scope, and resolve access problems. Built-in integrations and additional connections serve different purposes; see Integration types.
