Decisions
Decisions records choices and the context your team needs to understand them later. Use it to keep important direction accessible beyond the original conversation.
Create and review decisions
Open Knowledge → Decisions to browse the record or add a decision. Write what was decided, why, and any constraints or supporting context. Edit the record when it needs correction.
Devplan can also extract proposed decisions from connected material. Review the wording and evidence, make any necessary edits, then approve or reject the proposal. Extracted decisions remain proposals until approved.
Keep the record current
Archive a decision when it no longer belongs in the active record. Archived decisions can be revisited and restored. If a newer decision replaces an older one, explain the change so readers can distinguish current direction from history.
Creating, editing, and reviewing decisions depend on your workspace permissions.
Use decisions in your work
Ask Weaver about the reasoning behind an approach or reference relevant decisions while refining a project. Check the dates and original context before applying an older decision to a new situation.
