Daily and Weekly Reports

Devplan generates daily and weekly reports to summarize changes, risks, and decisions across your workspace. They give you a regular way to catch up, prepare for a review, and share important developments without assembling a status update from each source yourself.

Radar is where you read the daily report. Open Weekly report from Dashboards for the weekly view. This guide explains how to personalize those reports and configure delivery.

Read a report

Check the period covered and follow source references when you need details or want to validate a conclusion. Open Historical reports to revisit earlier reports; All reports on Radar opens the daily archive.

The Daily Standup dashboard is a separate template dashboard. Its refresh and delivery settings do not control the daily report in Radar.

A report summarizes the evidence available when it was generated. Use Ask Weaver for a follow-up investigation, such as “Which of these risks affects our launch?” or “What changed since this report?”

Personalize the content

Members choose role preferences in profile settings to help personalize future reports. These preferences describe your interests and responsibilities; they do not change your workspace permissions.

Daily reports use a standard structure for product updates, items to watch, discussions, and insights. Workspace administrators can customize Weekly Report default instructions in workspace settings. For example, ask the weekly report to emphasize customer adoption, delivery risks, and decisions that need leadership attention.

Generate a report on demand

Workspace administrators can generate a daily or weekly workspace report from reporting settings. Save changed settings first, then choose Generate for the report you want. This creates a report for review in Devplan; it does not send report emails. Scheduled delivery is configured separately.

Delivery

Workspace administrators enable daily and weekly reporting and configure shared delivery in workspace settings. Members use Email me reports in profile settings to turn report emails on or off for each workspace.

Check the schedule, timezone, and selected recipients. Slack or Microsoft Teams delivery also needs a connected workspace and an accessible destination. Opening or manually generating a report is not confirmation that it was emailed or posted to Slack.

Dashboard schedules control individual dashboards separately from recurring report preferences.

Troubleshooting

If a report is missing information, check its period and the relevant source's processing status. If delivery is missing, check both the shared delivery configuration and your personal preferences. Resolve disconnected destinations before expecting future delivery.
