Today
Today is your daily briefing — an AI-generated digest of what changed in your workspace, what's at risk, and what needs your attention. It's the default landing page when you open Devplan, so the most important developments are waiting for you before you think to go looking.
Why it matters
Instead of piecing together status from GitHub, Slack, Jira, and meeting notes every morning, Today does that synthesis for you. The digest is role-specific — a PM, an engineering manager, and a leader each see a briefing framed for what they care about. It surfaces:
- Action items that need a decision or response
- Risks, like a launch slipping based on current velocity or a PR blocking others
- Changes to scope, requirements, or direction
- Decisions made across the team, with the context behind them
Every item traces back to its source, so you can go from a one-line summary to the underlying PR, ticket, or thread in a click.
What you can do
- Toggle between the Workspace digest (everything happening across the team) and your Personal digest (filtered to your roles and focus)
- Browse previous digests to catch up on what you missed
- Personalize your personal digest — adjust tone, focus, and formatting; click Generate for an on-demand report
- Click evidence pills (e.g.
3 sources) on any item to open the linked PRs, tickets, Slack threads, and documents
Delivery
Today can be delivered to you each morning by email or Slack, on your workspace's schedule. Manage your own email and delivery options in Preferences. Admins configure workspace-wide generation, recipients, and Slack delivery under Workspace Daily Digest.
