Ask Devplan
Ask Devplan is a conversational AI assistant scoped to your workspace. Ask about product changes, blockers, decisions, or history in plain language and get an answer grounded in your team's actual code, tickets, conversations, and docs — not generic guesses.
Why it matters
A general-purpose AI assistant doesn't know your product. Ask Devplan does, because it's built on the same Knowledge layer that powers the rest of Devplan. Answers are grounded in your connected sources and cite their evidence, so you can trust them and trace them.
Ask things like:
- "What changed on the billing feature this week?" — and get commit counts, meeting summaries, and ticket updates with links to each
- "What's blocking the mobile launch?"
- "Who made the decision to drop SSO from v2, and why?"
Where to use it
- In Devplan — the native chat interface
- In Slack — ask without leaving your conversation
- Via MCP — connect Devplan to your own AI tools and IDEs using the MCP Integration
What you can do
- Chat in natural language; attach files for extra context
- Use suggested prompts or start a New chat
- Search and rename past chats in the left rail
- Click evidence pills in any response to inspect the source references behind it
